Mrs. Mia Martin is an amazing speech therapist for my son that has autism. Last year we had the pleasure to work online remotely with Mrs. Martin and she was so patient and understanding to my son’s speech needs. Creating goals, cue cards, flash cards and pictures charts were a few things that Mrs. Martin did to help create a fun experience for speech advancement. Mrs.Martin has a way of getting my son’s attention to help him bring sounds and words to life. Mrs. Martin see the same potential in my son that I see and she encouraged him to do the best that he can and have fun at the same time. Hands down, I’d recommend Mrs.Martin as your child’s speech therapist any day because she is a wonderful speech therapist who is so passionate about what she do. I cannot say enough good things about Mia Martin. I dont know how she does it or what exactly her approach is but whatever it is, its working. She has been the only speech therapist able to get my son to actually speak words. He has progressed so much while in her care. I am so grateful for her and her knowledge. She is a must in our son’s advancement. Without her I feel like we would not be where we are . I am so enthusiastic to see where her lessons with my son gets him .

My child has increased with her confidence improved her grades and her articulation with the quality services Ms Martin has provided. Mrs. Martin made learning engaging and fun and provided us with an abundance of resources. Even though our services were virtual the quality of them made us feel face to face. We thank Mrs. Martin for her services and have been pleased with her as our speech therapist. We highly recommend her services to any other parents who are looking for quality speech services for their child or children.

After my stroke it was not always convenient for me to travel to my therapy sessions.  But working with Mia online was just the comfort and care I needed.  Her expertise of therapy techniques along with her compassion played a pivotal role in me regaining my speech and to establish a safe and effective swallow so that I can eat and drink again!  Mia helped me to reclaim my self-confidence and my independence, and I am forever grateful that I had her as my speech therapist!
