Wilson Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

Hello, I wanted to share our experience with Wilson Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Placing my Auntie in a rest home was one of the hardest decisions we've faced, but after searching extensively, we found this facility to our liking. The well-kept lawn and the clean, welcoming atmosphere immediately stood out. The friendly receptionist gave us a thorough tour, and despite the emotional moment, we felt reassured by the professionalism and care we witnessed. Our family decided to proceed with placement, and I'm happy to report that my Auntie has made great progress in a short time. We look forward to picking her up on Sunday for church, as the staff have everything prepared for her. Highly recommend this facility.

My husband was there for 2 weeks for rehab. All of the staff from the custodians, CNAs, nurses, and administrative staff were so friendly. My husband was dealiing with some confusion and even tried to run away the morning after he arrived, but the staff calmly explained where he was and why he was there, then guided him back to his room until I could get there. We had to explain where he was and why daily and they were so caring and compassionate. I would highly recomment Wilson Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Very nice physical facility, big rooms, nice dining and activity rooms. Food is of good quality, better than the hospital, according to my Mom. The rehab room and outdoor patio are spacious. The rehab staff are competent and caring. Convenient location, some shared health care services with hospital. Having said that, the level of care is lessened by the national health care provider shortage and definitely is a concern for patients with complex health care issues. As with any other situation, family and patient involvement may be necessary to ensure medications are correct and ordered lab work is completed and forwarded to respective doctors as needed. Great service and care. My mother in-law had a short stay for rehab and received good food, great care, and beautician services. With rehab she was able to improve and get stronger so home health could finish the rest. Being out of state, we felt comfortable entrusting care to the Administrator Julia and her staff at Wilson Rehab and Nursing Center.

Facility staff are very friendly and compassionate. From admission to discharge the staff communicate well with patients, families and other healthcare professionals.
