I was having a few complications and the labor and delivery crew were nothing short of amazing. They did everything possible to keep me calm. Carrie really went above and beyond to keep me comfortable even kept us laughing even with all the scares we had. She is amazing at her job. As well as the ladies taking care of us after the baby was born were amazing at making sure baby and me were healthy and doing okay.
Worst experience in my life trying to work on a lawsuit against them not caring their lack of care knowledge sucks! They signed up to be a nurse or doctor it’s their job to take care of us if we are sick or not feeling well they tried to say I had diarrhea when I didn’t.! They didn’t listen to me or my husband at all.! I could barely stand or walk they gave me two bags of IV fluids that didn’t touch me! My husband told them several times to give me a head scan and they didn’t listen to the nurses who treated me should be fired. For not caring or paying attention if it wasn’t for ECU I wouldn’t be here today! It sucks you can’t go to your local hospital to get treated they rather talk or be on their phone rather than be a doctor and get told to care for their patients! Why go through classe
I'd like to take a minute to speak very highly of Wilson Medical Center. Friday, I had to visit our hospitals Emergency Room, having severe chest pain. I was met at the front desk by a young lady that was very helpful getting me registered (I was having shortness of breath and in a lot of pain). The triage nurse was quick to get to me and begin her assessment. Initial 12 lead and evaluation was done, and I was taken back to a treatment room. Once in the room, the nursing staff was very quick to get follow up 12 leads, IV and blood draw. The PA that came in was very attentive and thorough in explaining to me what was going on and what the plan was moving forward. The staff was very caring in trying to keep my symptoms in check, until they could determine what was happening. Once it was det
I arrived at the center's ED around midnight Christmas Eve and was discharged around 4 p.m.that afternoon. The reason for my visit was rapid heart beat. I have never had this problem and am only on 2 meds, one for acid reflux and eye drops for glaucoma. I have never had problems with blood pressure or cholesterol so I had no idea what was wrong. I was taken back immediately, an IV was started and the nurses began raking my medical history. I was diagnosed as being in A Fib upon arrival. Soon after admission I was told I was no longer in A Fib but was continuously monitored while tests were being done. Everyone there was very concerned with providing me the best possible care as well as keeping me comfortable. I was discharged that afternoon with instructions to follow-up with my PCP as wel
Our family recently experienced a very scary and unexpected medical emergency, and from the moment we arrived in the Emergency Department through discharge, the care we received was exceptional. Every doctor, nurse, and staff member we encountered was compassionate, attentive, and thorough. We felt heard, supported, and truly cared for during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. The communication was clear, the care was prompt, and the professionalism shown at every step gave us so much peace. We are incredibly grateful for the medical team who walked alongside our family during this time. Thank you for the outstanding care and kindness you showed us — it made all the difference.
