Willow Dental : Portland Dentist

I came here because Dr Tran’s office in Beaverton off of SW Murray had closed with minimal notice. I was nervous beyond belief. Not just because of massive dental anxiety but just in general starting at a new practice. In swings Nicole S. The best hygienist I’ve ever had. She listens to anxiety concerns, she educates in ways that make total sense, she keeps you informed, she checks in to make sure I’m good, and BOY FREAKIN HOWDY does she know where to shoot up that numbing stuff. She did my lower left jaw so good I only needed one shot for the whole deep cleaning session. Nicole has damn near single handedly has made going to the dentist way less terrifying for me. When I first went here a yr ago to address a tooth issue they said they could fix my tooth and made it like it was nothing to worry about. They had me come in for deep cleaning which took a year to finish. So I go back in to take care of my tooth and now they’re telling me that I need a root canal or pull my tooth. I will not be returning. They will not be getting anymore of my money from me or my insurance!!!!!!!!

I had my visit here and I keep having to advocate for myself. I am still in extreme pain with rotting cavities in my mouth and cannot eat, sleep or think. I know if it was a true emergency he would have done something, but I wouldn't trust him with an extreme procedure (especially awake). I contacted the staff as soon as my pain increased after a week, they didn't seem too concerned. I don't think I'll be returning to this clinic. I felt humiliated by the staff. I even made staff aware that I have dental anxiety (and I wish I never told them). One of them literally laughed at me with my fear of my teeth. Best cleaning I've ever had - my teeth feel amazing! The dentist and staff are all incredibly knowledgeable, kind and seem to genuinely enjoy their work. I've felt at ease at all of my appts and I appreciate Dr.Lyashenko's sense of humor.

Absolutely loved my experience. Everyone was so knowledgeable and caring and I felt my teeth were in good hands. Dr. Jackson was also very kind and took time to explain everything clearly and help me make he best decisions for my oral health. I will be back!
