Dr. Hunter is THAT guy! I came into Dr. Hunter’s care through an emergency situation and when he came to see me, he was direct, honest, and calm. I was hesitant, and made that known, and he was great about it. He offered me all resources at their disposal and when I did go ahead with surgery, I felt immediate relief. His staff are all amazing and even when I was unsure in recovery, they were right there with me and again offered every resource at their disposal. Great care in a time of total chaos. Would recommend Dr. Hunter to anyone I cared about.

Going to Dr. Hunter was the worst mistake I ever made, I had low back pain and after trying to fix it with physical therapy without any relief he said surgery would be an option. So, after surgery(March 31, 2023) and 7 weeks of rehab I was in more pain than I started with. Another surgery in July 2023, still no relief, I had more hardware in my back than Ace Hardware has in their store!! When he added additional hardware in my back the screws and/or bolts bulged out my back so much I couldn't touch my back without out being in major pain. I decided I needed to see another doctor, thank God I found an amazing doctor that had to remove the hardware Dr. Hunter used and fix my back correctly...no more pain!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND Dr. William Hunter!

Dr. Hunter quite literally saved my life. I was originally scheduled for back surgery with a different surgeon in Charlotte two weeks ago, but our health insurance unexpectedly denied the procedure. Not long after, I developed new symptoms and ended up in the ER. Another MRI revealed I had developed Cauda Equina Syndrome. Dr. Hunter happened to be the back surgeon on duty that day, and I can’t express how thankful I am for that. He acted immediately, taking me into surgery without delay. His calm, compassionate, and confident approach gave me so much reassurance during an incredibly frightening time. Thanks to Dr. Hunter’s quick thinking and expert care, I’m on the road to recovery — and I’m so excited for the day I can pick up my little one again. I owe him everything for giving me my lif

Sadly we had a bad experience with surgery for my wife shape hd spinal stenosis md a bulging disc done about a year ago pain is worse now than before surgery. After several follow up visits we moved to a pain doctor for management. We tried to get a pain med refilled today because we are leaving the country. We were told to call a primary care doctor. I not sure why since they prescribed it in February. Hard enough to deal with the pain but this is an unsatisfactory result!!

MY HUSBAND HAD BACK SURGERY FROM DR. HUNTER. HE CARED FOR HIM ALL THE WAY. GREAT MAN HE MADE US FEEL SO GOOD. ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS WITH HONESTY. AND FOR THAT ME AND MY HUSBAND TERRY LEE MCCLAIN SALUTE YOU DOCTOR HUNTER. YOU ARE A GREAT MAN . AND WHEN I TOOK HIM TO THE OFFICE ALL OF YOU MADE US FEEL SO AT HOME SO TOO ALL THE OFFICE PEOPLE KEEP SHINING BRITE LIKE A DIAMOND. OUR HEART WAS FULL OF JOY WHEN WE LEFT. AND THE SURGERY DR. HUNTER DID ALL THE PAIN IS GONE AND MY HUSBAND CAN WALK. ONLY GOD KNOWS THE PAIN HE HAD INDURED BEFORE THE SURGERY UNTIL NOW.
