Willamette Dental - Puyallup

We have been bringing my whole family to Willamette for 15 years. Been a decent experience so far. Couple mishaps that we overlooked and stayed with them due to this being the most cost effective insurance through my job. But this last visit they completely messed up and hurt my 5year old daughter. They didn’t communicate with us, wouldn’t accommodate us, and led to her getting a tooth infection and emergency extraction that was preventable with proper dental care. My child had her annual checkup where a cavity was identified but wasn’t communicated that it was close to the root or a serious concern. They said it was no big deal. I have been with Willamette for many years and when the Puyallup place became available, I started going to that location (as it is closer to home). The staff there have always been nice and professional, that the services are great as well. I have never had a bad experience at any of Willamette Dental's places, and the Puyallup office was no exception! I would definitely recommend this place if someone has asked me about it!

Every time I bring my son here, I feel like nothing ever gets resolved. At almost every visit, the orthodontist either suggests pulling more of my 10-year-old’s teeth or says there’s nothing he can do yet. We’ve been coming for two years, and the recommendations are always the same, remove more teeth and come back in 10 months to a year, or just “wait until he’s older.” My son has significant crowding, a fused tooth, and an overbite, yet we’re repeatedly told there’s no treatment plan that can help him right now. Before coming here, we saw another orthodontist who recommended starting braces immediately because of the severity of the crowding. Puyallup location is the best. My experience from parking, check-in, my annual exam, and check-out was amazing, efficient, and a wonderful experience. All the staff were welcoming, professional and friendly. Shoutout to Hygenist Kiki and Dr. Park and even Maribel who took my teeth X-rays. They’re all rock stars at what they do! Thank you for an amazing experience and I look forward to my visit next year!

From the initial reception until I left, everyone was very professional and kind. All of my questions and concerns were addressed. I have anxiety about going to the dentist and I was made to feel heard and reassured often. Great care was taken to make sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. Work was fast and I was made aware of what stage of the procedure we were at very often. I will absolutely be going back soon.
