Whitfield Regional Hospital

On October 20, I brought my husband to the ER, since that very first day we were here, we have received the best care! Staff was amazing, when we had concerns they were addressed quickly. Everyone from the ER staff, to the ICU staff, to the dietary staff to the surgeon, has been amazing. Thank you for the most wonderful experience!

Where to start. The checkin lady in the er was efficient. The triage nurse was short when I was explaining that my Mom was told to go to the er asap. I told her what Mom's Dr. needed them to check which was blood test, urine test and chest xray. Mom's Dr. didn't tell us what she was looking for, just what needed to be done to diagnose Mom. She told me quick like that Mom was their patient now. The other nurse took her vitals and didn't tell her what they were. After waiting 30 min. Dr. Wah.... came in for a minute, didn't introduce himself and asked a few of the same questions as the triage nurse. All he ordered was a urine test and xray. This was by far the WORST hospital I have ever been to. The entire staff is just rude, disrespectful and RACIST. I was meaning to do this review as soon as I checked out of there a couple of months. I was transported there via ambulance because I was having severe stomach pain and cramps. I couldn’t even stand up straight. The moment they saw that I was black they immediately started being rude. I kept telling them that it hurts to move around and was hoping they’ll understand and sympathize since the nurses were majority woman but no. All I heard was just huffing and puffing with attitudes. The doctor finally came in after a hour of me being there and he was just as rude as they were. They wanted me to pee in a cup and I couldn’t so I kindly asked for some water and they refused and just

Physical therapy unit is the best....love having the one on one assistance with physical therapy... Each week was top quality care given by each physical therapist... I'm very please with the care I was given.

My daughter and her friends was in a accident and had to be rush here. When I got news I was an hour n 20 minutes away cause I don't stay down here. After arriving I was put in the waiting room with the other family. After waiting for 40 minutes they finally told me that she's alert and that she's alright. Than I had to wait 30 minutes ( which it felt like hours)before they allow me to see her. Get back there and my baby is in pain. She tells me that they gave her something we they got in but it wasn't doing anything. Not to mention but they had my baby on a transport board for hours. Me being a mother that I am I went to find a nurse or doctor to see of they could give her something and this lady had the nerve to tell me that the board is cause her the pain.
