Irina is incredibly talented! Look no further if you want a highly personalized massage. I received a prenatal massage from her recently, and I was so impressed by how much she modified her approach based on my experience. It definitely didn't seem like a templated massage she gives to everyone! She picked up on points of tension without me bringing them up, and she made adjustments based on these. Irina is an amazing massage therapist unlike any other! I have been going to Irina for a few years now. Most recently I booked an appointment for lower back pain that was not going away with chiropractic work only. In three days I was going on vacation and I didn't want to have pain while out of the country. Irina uses multiple avenues to approach a tender or painful area, she does not just massage the muscles. She uses techniques to release muscles and to remove tension. She is always thinking about what she is doing and what your response is to what she has tried, and then she charts her next intervention accordingly. I have been getting massages for many years. I have had massages at some of the most wonderful spas in the country and I generally find someone nearby who is excellent. I had tried several therapists in the Sudbury, Marlborough area and no one really seemed to have that "magic" touch until I visited White Orchid. Since then, I have been using only Irina as my therapist and I have never found someone who is completely and intuitively in touch with her clients as she is. While I don't go as often as I like, when ever I do go, it's a heavenly experience. She really is an incredibly skilled, sensitive and intuitive healer who deserves to be called something other than a massage therapist.
