Whisper Creek Dental Care

I had a really good appointment with Marie (I think that’s her name), my technician. She is friendly cared, very professional and skilled at her job. She offered a couple of possible treatments for my lingering issue that could be very helpful in the future. And it was nice to meet the new dentist who did a thorough exam of the condition of my teeth and a cancer screening.

I have been going for the past several years and it has gone downhill every year. I feel like they have changed dentist several times, and the staff upfront seems to be different as well as the hygienist. I was in there recently and given fluoride without my consent and then charged for it. I was told by the dentist who I have never seen before that I have two cavities in my 12 year molars. I have never had a cavity in my life. Of course they wanted to fix it Right away and the finance lady had a bill ready before the doctor even left my room. I was like nope I’m good. I won’t be returning. Dentist are like mechanics unfortunately I do not trust them farther than I can throw them. BEWARE*** I hesitated leaving a review because they refunded me for my visit but I now have a fear of dentists and it was because of this place. I went in for a very simple cosmetic bonding procedure. This normally takes 10-15 minutes. I've gotten it many times and most recently from Dr. Cosmo at this practice but she isn't there anymore. Dr. Tweedy was the dr. and I don't think she has ever done this procedure before. It does NOT require numbing but she shot me with Novocain without even asking me. Then proceeded to work on my teeth for 3 HOURS. I left looking like Mr. Ed and I couldn't eat or close my mouth. Everyone was very nice but when I called I asked if I could get a night guard without becoming a new patient and doing an exam/xrays, so I came in. Just to be told by the dentist he wouldn’t see me without the exam and X-rays, even though I got them 2 months ago at another dentist. Disappointed by the lack of good communication.

This office is just a revolving door of dentists. I’ve had 3 in the last 18 months. They also try to upsell everything- more advanced cleaning, laser treatments etc etc. I just want to go in and have a cleaning instead of a sales pitch. I also paid twice as much there for some dental work than my current dentist. A crown cost almost $900 with them and I later found out by my rep that my plan cost is $500 so they definitely ripped me off. When it came time to send my records, I sent in my release and they simply just didn’t do it. So I had to get X-rays again because they couldn’t just send over my history. With so many options I would choose elsewhere!
