WhidbeyHealth Community Pharmacy

I'm hoping this is a one-offer experience. I will pre-empt to say that before this latest experience (explanation to follow), I've had almost all great service from this pharmacy, but as they seemed to have hired a couple new people, it's leading me to wonder why they've had such a 180° turn over the past few months. I've been getting the same prescription for the past couple of years. (Inhalers with a spacer.) This time I was given the same medicine, but with a completely different actuator that doesn't fit the usual -and newly given, I might add- spacer. Left a VM the next day (as 9 out of 10 times no one is able to ever just pick up the phone, and even ask that the person be put on hold, and that they'd get to them after finishing their task at hand). No call back for a week. (Granted

Since the closure of Island Drug, this has become the only functioning pharmacy for South Whidbey residents. Unlike the chain pharmacy in Freeland, this pharmacy actually fills prescriptions on time and has them ready to pick up. It's worth the longer drive.

I appreciate the drive through feature with a toddler. Also, CVS replacing rite aid... the location now doesn't accept my daughter's insurance. Being on the south end makes pharmacy harder and harder! Greatful for this pharmacy. I try to only go in the drive thru when I know an rx is ready. Thank you!

The best service, and customer care! Ab..so..lutely! With every business shutting down, for prescriptions and health care alike, here in our community! And Insurance coverage being what it is, or isn't! Don't even get me started! Anyone in the same boat knows the boat is sinking! However, this pharmacy has been a lifeline for me! I was disabled in an accident and some days are worse than others! Yet, in the face of folks who aren't always at their best, not well, then there's a problem with insurance, or the doctors office hasn't gotten around to your request... and people will immediately blame the pharmacy! I see it time and time again! Not only is it not their fault, but the techs here have such grace and kindness, understanding and patience for the human condition! It's almost unbeliev

Terrible experience at this pharmacy. Terrible communication. I had to tell them the same information 3 separate times twice via phone and 1 in person. Their neglect and poor communication led to me being without important medication for 7 days and wasn't even the complete prescription when I finally got it. I have had Terrible service with 2 out of the 3 Whidbey Health services I've had to use. It's quite obvious they don't care about those they "serve".
