Western Reserve Hospital: Emergency Room

I’ve been in the Western Reserve Hospital ER 4 times in the past couple months and every time has been a great experience. Two trips with my 90-year-old mom and she was treated with kindness and respect. One time to visit members of my congregation who were quickly diagnosed, treated and released and today was my turn. I got into a room in less than 10 minutes and the staff was attentive and got me treated quickly. We are so lucky to have such a great hospital in Cuyahoga Falls.

I'm very thankful for the assistance I received. Pretty certain having stomach upset , is painful but nothing close to the discomfort of a cardio stress test. Ouch.

Not the last edit : So apparently its not an absess like the E.R. thought it was and it might be an injury after all sadly. He did say if I continue to have issues to follow up.. and i am. Last Edit Hopefully : I finally got to speak to a ombudsman about my issue and he was a complete gentleman and was 100% professional and kind. Now considering the fact on how most of the staff handled themselves in this exchange.. I find it hard to finalize a scathing review just because of one bad apple in the bunch. Second edit : I just got off the phone with a RN at the Cleveland clinic and they were totally aghast at what I told them about my experience at this location. They told me that I need to go back to the ER again at a different hospital, and that this ER at the Western reserve should have

This hospital was for adults emergency they can care kids but especially for adults

We went to the emergency room at WR hospital yesterday and the nursing staff was very kind, but the doctors treated our minority and elderly loved one like they had less worth than an animal. Their mission was more to make sure to discharge rather than ensuring mandatory and proper treatment for what the cardiac and other tests revealed. There were at least two serious concerns that warranted admitting at least for observation while waiting for test results. After waiting almost 13 hours, the attending and medical student sent the patient out still vulnerable and in crisis. I didn't want to believe it, but I believe this would not have happened to a non-minority. The medical student was terrible and just kept stating why he wasn't going to admit, despite us only asking to do what was warr
