Westchester Myofunctional Therapy

What a great experience! We took my six year old to the practice after being referred enthusiastically by our dentist in Tarrytown. We were greeted warmly by Hetal and Nicole. Nicole immediately made us feel confident and in great hands, oriented us in what we were going to experience and the expected outcomes of a treatment plan. She then proceeded with a lengthy and thorough evaluation of our child, which was engaging for our child because Nicole made it fun! The discussion with us, the initial findings afterward, and the treatment plan brought a great deal of comfort to us and we were delighted by the experience. We learned a ton and have a renewed sense of confidence in how to proceed. Definitely take advantage of the expertise here, I think you will also be glad you did so!

Hetal did a wonderful job coaching me through some myofunctional issues both before and after my laser frenectomy (done by Dr. Levy, in the same office) like breathing, tongue/oral posture, strengthening muscles around the mouth, swallowing and more. She provided lots of little tools to help with the stretches and exercises, as well as helpful feedback. Very personable and friendly, and on days when I had to bring my 1-year-old along, she helped make it work. Thank you Hetal!

Westchester MyoFunctional Therapy has been amazing in helping my daughter strengthen her oral functioning and the muscles in her mouth and face. The care and kindness in the therapists’ approach to helping young children makes therapy fun for my daughter.
