Westcare Villa Rica Pediatrics

Westcare Pediatrics… It has the feel of a nice small time pediatric office. But you really have to catch anyone who works here on a good day except for one of the doctors who is really kind. If you don’t catch them on a good day, which would be 75% of the time, there is no welcome when you walk in the door and there is no sense of I want to be here. Some people enter a stage in life where they just are working there just because they have to, and they don’t really have a passion to learn more, or a passion to care for others or a passion for what they do any longer. This is what this whole office feels like. This whole office needs a customer service, purpose, and passion, reboot.

First off I want to say all of the doctors and nurses are great and I've never had an issue with rudeness. Now to the financial part of it, if you have co-pays it turns into an issue. I'm hoping that this did actually get resolved today and the person that was more than likely pocketing money from co pays made in cash and putting it as a none payment on your account, so you'd now owe twice or three times saying you didn't pay the last two visits knowing you always pay the co pay before your children are seen, really hope they got fired. Oh and we've paid with card too with the minimum "$20" and us being told the extra will go on my child's account and it never happened.. I am deeply disappointed with the level of customer service and professionalism I experienced during my recent visit. As a single father, I was made to feel marginalized and disrespected by the receptionist, Tonya, when I requested care for my daughter. She insisted that I provide a letter from my child’s mother, implying that my role as a father was insufficient. This level of bias and insensitivity is unacceptable, especially in a medical setting where all parents should feel supported. The situation worsened when I encountered the nurse, Shannon. Upon asking for her name, she initially responded dismissively, saying her name was simply “Nurse.” When I reintroduced myself, she finally provided her actual name. This lack of professionalism left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Add

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE!!! This doctor's office is not there to take care of your child, but to take your money. My daughter was seen by several people, and each were okay, the Nurse Practitioner was very nice and seemed to care. But, I personally saw a parent arguing with a nurse that she said was rude to her. It was very loud and unprofessional. The office is very unclean as well. The equipment is falling apart, the walls are extremely dirty, and there is a lack of professionalism from some of the staff. My issue with this office is like another review. They kept charging me $50 every visit, even though I'd met my deductible. I had my insurance speak to them to let them know my deductible was met and shouldn't be charged. They said it was an office policy.

Let me tell you right now, I have never had an issue before but that all changed TODAY!!! My son scheduled an appointment and they confirmed The appointment and then when he arrived to the appointment, they told him that he had aged out like did. You all not see that when you asked for his birthday over the phone that he was 20. Should have taken accountability over the phone. But they did not. Everybody is finger pointing. Just a waste of time and energy today.
