From the moment I walked in, Gene and Alex at the front desk were incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to assist me in finding the perfect pair of glasses and patiently explained the entire process, including understanding my prescription. I came in for a routine eye exam and want to make it clear: the optometrist was professional and seemed competent. However, my overall experience was negatively impacted by the front desk staff and a concern about hygiene. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist’s attitude felt cold and dismissive. When I asked a simple question, I was abruptly told to “sit down,” with no warmth or explanation. It wasn’t what was said—it was how it was said. I didn’t feel welcomed or respected, and the tone set the wrong atmosphere for a healthcare visit. What made matters worse was during the exam, the technician wiped down the machine—the place where I was supposed to rest my face—with a tissue, not an antibacterial wipe. Great optometrist. The staff at the front desk and the practicing doctors are all very friendly, prompt, and courteous. They will get you in and out for a reasonable price without you ever feeling rushed. I used a Groupon and still received great care. Would highly recommend.
