Every time I ran, I would experience knee pain so severe that I couldn't even walk afterward. Running the next day was always out of the question, and I had no idea why. I just figured it was part of getting older. I’d heard about Amber through running circles and decided to book a running analysis at Performative Physical Therapy. To be honest, I was skeptical; I didn't think my form had that much of an impact on my body. Boy, was I sooooo wrong! I’m now four weeks into the program and I have been running pain-free for weeks. I am so happy I took this step. I liked running before, but I love running now! Thank you, Dr. Lowe, for helping me become a better, stronger runner.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Amber! I came in with peroneal tendinitis and was worried I’d be sidelined from running for a long time. She was incredibly intelligent, thoughtful, and really listened to what I was feeling and what my goals were. Every session was personalized — not just focused on recovery, but also on preventing future injuries. Thanks to Amber, I’m back to running pain-free and feeling stronger than ever. Highly recommend her to any athlete or active person looking for a PT who truly cares and knows her stuff!

Amber is not only one of the best Physical Therapist I’ve ever known, but one of the best people in the WORLD!! Maybe I’m slightly biased because she worked out of our gym, but I’m sure I can speak for many other, including all of my members at HFC that she worked with, my brothers ankle and hip injury when he was training for his first marathon, my fathers back when he tweaked it at work, and even myself when I was running into some knee issues from a previous injury - that Amber is the absolute best! She works magic on that table, and I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!

Amber was fantastic to work with. She really knows her stuff and took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense. I appreciated how attentive and encouraging she was throughout the process. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone (especially runners!) who needs a physical therapist who’s both skilled and easy to work with.

Amber did an amazing job helping me train for the San Francisco half marathon. I wasn’t sure how to prepare for a hilly race, and she gave me a range of elevation gain to aim for every run. I also had not done organized speed training before, so it was helpful to have all that planned for me. Amber was able to work around my travel schedule and make changes to the plan if necessary. If I had any questions, she was quick to help. When I had a bit of knee pain, she gave me some PT exercises to do, which really helped. My race went great! I wasn’t planning to run it for time, but I ended up finishing only 2 minutes slower than my PR and felt really strong. I am continuing to work with Amber and hope to get a big PR on my next half.
