I sought treatment with Dr. Perlman for an autoimmune condition. During my first appointment, blood was drawn in the office. I was not informed that the samples would be sent to an out-of-network laboratory. As a result, my insurance denied the claim, and I received a bill for $2,300.05 Six weeks later, when repeat labs were needed, I requested that the order be sent to an in-network lab (Quest Diagnostics) to avoid another unexpected charge. I was told I would need to return to the office for the blood draw and that an order could not be sent directly to Quest. This was confusing, as I was trying to ensure the services would be covered by my insurance. After continuing to request that the order be sent to Quest, the office staff ultimately provided it. This practice, including the appiointment/office staff are fantastic. They have proved very flexible with me regarding appointments. The lab technicians are awesome as well. And Dr. Perlman really shines! For instance, while seeing me in the presence of one of the nurses, she took the opportunity for a quick minute or two, to teach that nurse some things. I'm very glad we were referred to them!

Dr. Perlman is an amazing and caring provider. She is an exceptional physician and is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely caring. She takes the time to listen, explain things clearly, and makes her patients feel comfortable and confident in their care. I went to see her for extreme fatigue, mood swings, and not feeling myself and she immediately started my treatment to help me focus and feel better. She always heads to the root of the problem and finds a more permanent solution. She is also very attentive and noticed little details about me. She is very thorough and takes her role as my provider very seriously. She is wonderful and I highly recommend her!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Perlman for the past few months to help manage my thyroid, and I’m really glad I found her. Both my daughter and I go to her, and she always takes the time to explain things in a way that actually makes sense which is difficult to find in doctors. She worked with me to come up with a treatment plan that fits into my daily life, which I really appreciate. Dr. Perlman actually listens when I talk about how I’m feeling and she doesn’t just go off what the lab work says. She adjusts things based on how I’m doing overall. The office staff is also very friendly and professional and I’ve never had any issues with them. I definitely recommend Dr. Perlman if you’re looking for a knowledgeable and caring endocrinologist.

Office staff is terrible! Had to go to office twice due to failure to send meds to pharmacy. Received a statement from them for what they say I owe on office visits from two years ago. One of the three billings is coded for a “ complete bilateral noninvasive physiologic study of upper or lower extremity arteries at multiple levels.” HUH?? Another is for an office visit which shows nothing paid by insurance provider…it doesn’t show that the claim was ever submitted by their office!! Great Doctor, but if the office staff matters, I would not recommend.
