West Orlando Pediatrics

My children have been patients at West Orlando Pediatrics for the past seven years. Dr. O’Brien has cared for both of my children since birth, even coming to the hospital when they were born at Winnie Palmer. That level of dedication meant so much to our family from the very beginning. It has always been incredibly convenient to make appointments, and we can usually be seen the same day when one of my children is sick. The doctors and staff have also been available by phone whenever I’ve had questions, which gives me such peace of mind as a parent. The entire office staff is consistently kind, professional, and welcoming. I feel very lucky to have a pediatrician who knows our family so well and is always there when we need him. We are so grateful for the care we’ve received over the year

Dr. O’Brien is the best. For first time parents there is a ton of anxiety and learning and Dr. O’Brien has always been patient, understanding, caring and prompt to respond. With doctors it can sometimes be impossible to get in touch. Dr. O’Brien routinely calls back right away and does not make us feel rushed when we have questions. And of course, he is very knowledgeable and we trust his advice. The same can be said for his staff especially Robin that worked with us over the weekend when we were worried about an infant chickenpox exposure.

I am so thankful we found Dr. O Brien. He met our baby at the hospital when she was born and he has been on this journey with us since. As a first time mother, he is always there to answer my calls after hours and he always manages to squeeze me in for a last minute appointment. I thank him so much for his kindness and patience.

Our family has been with Dr. Yarckin, Dr. O’Brien & the West Orlando Pediatrics office for about 18 and a half years. I’m at a loss for words at just how wonderful an experience we’ve had & continue to have each & every year. The professionalism, knowledge, care, & commitment has been exceptional. The doctors & staff are so very vested in each family & providing the best care & communication possible. Accessibility during emergencies, even on holidays, while traveling, & on weekends, has been above and beyond. We are truly grateful for the entire West Orlando Pediatrics team!

My kids have been seeing Dr O’Brien for over 6 years now and we couldn’t be happier! Anytime we have called the office after hours, we always got a call back within minutes. They have been great about fitting us in asap for sick appointments. Also, I love that they call us every year and remind me to schedule their yearly check-up. So blessed to have found Dr O’Brien!
