West Ashley Family Dentistry

Our experience today was excellent with West Ashley Family Dentistry.. Dr. Dichert and his Staff were Professional and communicative, and went above and beyond. I chose this practice as I wanted a Dentist who was more conservative in his practice. I left feeling like I have found what I sought. I think this is a Practice which affords quality time spent with Patients, and with genuine care which seems to have gone missing with some we have experienced.

Jessica was a smiling and helpful face on entry. Eliza was fun and engaging during the cleaning while also being informative and knowledgeable when it came to my oral health And the dentist (sorry forgot his name, lovely guy!) was professional and welcoming. Great team!

Dr. Dickert and his staff are amazing. Just had a dental cleaning with my mother who has advanced dementia. Our hygienist, Heidi, really took her time and was super gentle and kind to my mother. Dr. Dickert has been caring for her for many years and she receives the most compassionate comprehensive dental care.

I was told before my appointment that I wouldn’t owe anything as long as I sent my previous dental X-rays, which I did. During the visit, they said the X-rays were blurry and took new ones without discussing any cost. After my appointment, I was unexpectedly charged $137 with no prior notice. When I later requested my records, I was initially told no X-rays were taken, but they were sent to me after I clarified that they had been done. The lack of communication and transparency about pricing was disappointing. This experience was terrible highly do not recommend coming to this place.

West Ashley Family Dentistry is the absolute best. I have been going to them for years and always have a great experience. The office staff is always so professional and friendly. Maria, my hygienist, has such a personable and energetic personality and Dr. Dickert has saved me from my jaw pain more times than I can count!
