We have had an excellent experience with Dr. Roberts at WAP. I was nervous our pediatrician wouldn’t understand a preemies situation but Dr. Roberts has exceeded my expectations. He has cared so well for our daughter, he has taken extra time to research and explain every issue/concern I have had. Highly recommend!

My wife took our daughter to get her 12 month checkup done and she was getting her vaccine shots and we asked about the updated vaccine schedule that took effective Jan 5th of 2026 and asked that we do not have certain vaccines for our daughter. Cockrum acted oblivious that there was a change to the schedule and stated she did not know about this and said " i'm sure the CDC has not updated their schedule yet on their website" which it was updated on Jan 5th as this changed was effective immediately on that date. We told her it was (why the pediatrician was not aware of an update by the CDC and not informed about it is quite unlikely) and she said we should still get the shots. Katie in scheduling is the absolute best! I had to coordinate with my mom on my son’s shots since she watched him while I’m at work. I had to call several times and keep switching days to accommodate my mom and Katie was more than helpful and kind every time. Wasn’t annoyed or rude that I kept calling and switching days, at all.

Both Brantlee, and Kate were extremely knowledgeable and kind. Dr. Cockrum was absolutely amazing. I love the atmosphere and overall care provided by this practice

I was extremely disappointed and frankly upset by the way I was treated by the front desk staff during a recent well-child visit. My child developed a high fever just hours before the appointment, and due to an honest mistake I arrived 15 minutes late, believing the appointment was later than it was. Despite my apology and the fact that I did show up, the appointment was canceled, I was offered no reschedule, shown no empathy, and told to go to urgent care if I wanted my child seen. I was even charged a NO SHOW FEE. After 16 years as a loyal patient with all of my children—always on time, always paid—I was shocked by the lack of concern for my 5-year-old’s condition and the dismissive, “holier-than-thou” attitude at the front desk.
