Wentworth-Douglass Express Care (Dover, NH)

I love this walk-in. I've been several times for an array of issues (mono, busted foot, severe stove burn and other non emergency issues). With 4adult kids plus a husband that like to play with the big Yard toys its reassuring to know we wouldn't have to wait in an emergency room for hours and take the team away from people that really need immediate care! Thank you for all you do! Keep up the good work.

Went for a visit in August for my 5 month old son. Co-pay was made and we left after our care was provided. New bill was emailed to us in November saying we needed to pay the primary doctor. We did not see the primary doctor. They said the primary doctor doesn’t work nights but they have to use a real doctor’s name for the charge. We asked them to mail us the bill. Last week we received a bill from COLLECTIONS for the $200 they wanted from us.

Warning about Express-care and "Sam Trotzsky". They are trying to double-bill your insurance for copays. This is if you HAVE insurance and you KNOW your copay. They will bill you once for being at the building and once for seeing a doctor (this is NOT two doctors). We have a $50 co-pay for urgent care and we got TWO $50 bills. One from Express-Care and ANOTHER from the doctor "Sam Trotzsky". Insurance advocated for us, but ultimately said they can bill whatever they want, and it'll be swept up under a copay each time. This could be a scam by Dr. Sam Trotzsky alone... or it could be something they're all doing; I don't know. But you won't have this issue ANYWHERE else. And they don't warn you ahead of time that their facility charges TWO COPAYS for a single patient seeing a single provid

I went in for strep then covid a few days later. I was in and out, all the doctors/nurses were SO friendly and took the time to listen and care for me successfully. They really show how much they care about their jobs and the patients they work with and it shows. I definitely recommend to anyone!!

BILLING NIGHTMARE. The doctor we saw was fantastic and I am really grateful for him, the billing however will make us never come back. We have REALLY good insurance and usually never get a bill after copay.. I spent an hour on a 3 way call between various billing departments as I had paid and my money was just kept by the facility (even though I owed them nothing per my insurance).. jumped through hoop after hoop for a refund so that I could pay the separate physician bill.. my husband also got double billed by this facility. It all just feels shady, we got such a run around from their billing and luckily I had our insurance in on the call to tell them that was wrong and he was fairly certain illegal. I don't recommend this place, as some other reviews state the surprise bills are not wort
