Wentworth-Douglass Center for Orthopedics & Joint Replacement

Went there for a year with my Mother and got superb care, 80 years old and managed the full schedule of chemo with the help or wonderful staff. Shortly thereafter I was diagnosed and began my journey. Luckily I knew where to go and over the following 2.5 years was treated with the same care and empathy I had remembered. Any well trained person can follow a treatment plan but this group goes well beyond that standard and supports the patient in so many ways from the Dr./nurses to the cafeteria and maintenance staff.

They gave me a knee brace but never disclosed it would cost $173 that I was billed for 2 months later. If I had known I wouldn't have taken it. They said I can't return it even though I only wore it for 2 weeks and switched to a lighter/more comfortable brace I bought at Walmart for $15. They also scheduled me for a MRI and when I arrived there was a $200 copay. Granted my insurance isn't the best, but it would have been nice to know about the copay prior to getting to the MRI appointment (which I didn't end up getting). I still have knee pain but can't afford the care/pricing they offer with my insurance plan, so I'll just deal with whatever the injury may be.

Such an Amazing Center! Every Staff Member is kind, caring, supportive and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate your comfort. I have never seen a facility that was so inviting, peaceful & comfortable. Makes your appointment bearable and keeps you in high Spirits. Thank you Seacoast Cancer Center for such a wonderful experience!!

I went here back in july and aug. 2017 for chemo and radiation. the entire staff was more than friendly, caring and went way overboard to be of any assistance. If they did not know an answer to your question, they would go out of their way to get someone who would answer it. I had a couple instances where things didn't go smoothly and they helped me out and never batted an eye and did it with a smile. help me through my treatment 100%

January 2019 is 10 years since they got hold of me. Both knees replaced. 1 revision on right knee and an MRI without the correct program did me in for the left. Can't walk and in constant pain. Between Seacoast Ortho and Wentworth, I'm crippled. Suck it up and stick with your own knees. OR if you can, go to Boston and get it done right the first time.
