Wellstar Urgent Care

Their hours say that they’re open until 730 but they don’t take patients after 4:30 apparently. We walked about four steps in the door before being asked if we had an appointment. We said no. She immediately said they weren’t taking anymore patients. She didn’t even ask why we were there. Thank goodness there is a much more friendly and accommodating urgent care close by.

I have come here a few times and always had a pleasant experience. Candace the NP was always patient and actively listened to my concerns and did whatever she could to alleviate the symptoms. However my visit today was totally different . The NP Nathan saw me and was very nonchalant about what I was experiencing. Despite all the test coming back negative, I was still experiencing a lot of discomfort .Although my flu was negative the only thing he offered was Tamiflu. Why would I want to take that if clearly I don’t have the flu? I’m guessing he is new here .Never have I ever left a clinic where the provider didn’t at least try to help alleviate my symptoms in the office.

I’ve had no issues with this practice. Each time I’ve gone in, they’ve managed to get me in and out within an hour and have a plan of action for me. My visits were related to head and spine injuries as a result of car accident. While they do not do x-rays for head and neck, they gave me a referral should I want to pursue that option! The NP, Nathan helped out big time and I couldn’t be happier with their service.

Made appointment for 1 pm and here with 5 minutes to spare. It has been 45 minutes. I have seen just one person go in back to see the doctor. Urgent care isn't so urgent but they damn sure they got their money before making you wait. What was the point of making an appointment. Worst experience compounded by being sick is a new level of bad.
