Wellstar Urgent Care

Went in not feeling up to par, was informed by the front office staff up to an hour and a half. wait. They allowed me to wait in my vehicle. Not only was it less than an hour and a half. They were very courteous very thorough and I went back to the treatment rooms. The nurse was very professional very cordial. Listen to all my concerns treated me with kindness and respect. I thanked her for what she did, I too am a (wellstar) employee. The doctor came in. I thanked him he listened to Attentatively to everything that I had to say as well. I wound up testing positive for Covid, he explained the procedures I would be enduring while taking new medication to fight that. Best urgent care I’ve ever been to. I took my 3.5 year old daughter and the entire staff( front desk, triage, nurses, doctor and xray tech) treated her with so much compassion. They spoke to her kindly and made her feel comfortable through the different tests they took and the X-rays. It felt like a pediatric office due to how great their skills were with treating a child. They made our late night visit go smoothly and were able to diagnose and prescribe antibiotics. We were there 3 hours but it did not feel like it due to how thorough they were once they got to us. We will definitely be back in the future. Thank you to the staff here, my daughter is less afraid of going to the doctor thanks to you!

Upon arrival we were greeted with cheerful warm smiles! We were successfully checked in, saw the Doctor , got scripts and Amazingly were on our way home in under an HOUR!! I was very impressed with the professionalism we received from each individual staff member from the front office to the back office! Great system , TEAM WORK is obviously always the best policy!! I highly recommend Acworth WellStar Urgent Care!

Sunday 2/1/26 around 6:45PM had to take a friend to urgent care for a finger injury and the service and care from this Wellstar team was exceptional. From the receptionists to every nurse, the NP, the imaging team, and the Dr. himself were exceptional. We’ve experienced the good, the bad and the downright ugly care in many ER’s over our 62 years and many do a good job but one person in the care team may not offer the same care as others on the team. This team, and I’ve had Wellstar issues in the past, BUT this Wellstar team set the example of 10/10 service and 5 Star Care! Thank you for making her experience the best under the circumstances.

2/5/26 Being in extreme pain for what I figure was kidney stones as I have had them before but this pain was the worst, I purposely called ahead before coming in, to see if they treated kidney stones and did all testing there including CT scan and I was assured they did. Arrived around 3:30-4 by the time we were back to see the nurse practitioner ERICK DOMINGUEZ it was 6:45 and he informed us the CT department closes at 5 and they were gone for the evening. I think there should be a sign out front or atleast let every patient know that if they think they may potentially need a CT scan that the department closes at 5. This would have saved a lot of time wasted waiting and shortened the time of pain I was in if I had known ahead of time and I could have already been at the ER. There needs t
