Wellstar Thoracic Surgery

The care I received from the Thoracic surgery team at Wellstar Kennestone was absolutely amazing. I would recommend Dr. Kim, Dr. Price and Dr. Fortes. Due to holidays and their schedules, I was fortunate to be treated by all 3. I never was anxious or nervous about anything. They all made me feel cared for and important.

Dr. Fortes and the Wellstar staff provided exceptional care. Dr. Fortes listens attentively, offers compassionate recommendations, and delivers quality service. Miss Dawn, the front desk staff, exemplifies exceptional customer service. Abby, the RN, provided exceptional service and patient care. This team embodies Wellstar’s mission and values.

I have already had a bad experience with wellstar kennestone hospital years ago. That being said this was worse. I feel in my opinion that my color may have been a factor in some of my treatment. And I was upset by the way I was discharged and how rude Nathan Westercamp was. I would like to never come in contact with this man, period. I was sent home leaking by him and 6 weeks later I am heading back for them to find out why. I've been in pain since the original surgery but had to deal with it. I'm a 66 year old man with health conditions and have been very disappointed in my treatment. I feel deceived and I have been informed that I really didn't need surgery in the first place. Now here I am heading back for them to repair a problem they caused.

My wife was seen today for a nodule that we found after a car accident. The nurses were all super sweet. She was very nervous as cancer runs in her dad's side. They made her feel more at easy and we will be back in 3 months to check the status. Super sweet staff. Not sure they one bad review but we were very pleased with the treatment and care

Dr. Price and her team were exceptional in every way! Their care during my hospital stay as well as my post surgical appointments made a difficult experience much easier to deal with.
