The therapists both physical and occupational are awesome, very kind and ready to help. Here's a little bit of my story....  I decided to ride my motorcycle on my birthday of 2025 knowing that I have seizures (yes, I know... I'm a dumbass, lol) Shortly after leaving my house I had another seizure and ran into the back of a van stopped at a red light, which left me completely paralyzed for a short period, being the accident pinched my spinal cord. I spent the next 47 days in the hospital slowly healing from the injury.  Upon release they recommended that I go to Wellstar Rehabilitation Medicine for continued occupational and physical therapy. I am so glad that I did. On the physical therapy side I worked with Arlene (beautiful all around lady) and Nathan (awesome dude) and with their help I

Everyone at this facility has their patients best interest at heart. I had a stroke on Christmas Eve, and was referred here by the hospital I was treated at. They really listen to what your goals are, and help you get to where you want to be. Everyone from the doctors, the therapists, and even the front desk staff make you feel welcome and put you at ease. I’ve never had to do rehab before, so I really wasn’t sure what to expect but they were thorough explaining the treatment and how each exercise or activity would help your recovery. I thank everyone who helped get my life back!

I had a brain aneurysm, which cause me to have a stroke. It affected the left side of my body. I was referred to Doctor Maria Simpsons for botox injection treatment for muscle spasticity. She is very polite and listens to your issues and needs. The staff is very nice and greet you with a welcoming smile. The area is a clean, comfortable environment and I would recommend this place to my friends and family. The botox injection treatments I receive from Dr. Maria Simpsons improves my spasticity, tight muscles overall my body. She also referred me to get a AFO leg brace to help improve my walking. Wellstar Rehabilitation Medicine office is great and I would recommend this place to everyone.

In a day and time where everyone is short staffed and everyone is impatient. Wellstar Rehabilitation specifically Dr. Alex and his staff were a breath of fresh air. We should all know by now appointments are not in abundance. We should all know that the Dr is not going to see you the very minute you walk through the door. What we as patients don't always get is Transparency or general expectations. I had a very pleasant experience here, I was told what to expect for everything. And they delivered each time. It was a lot of smiles and pleasantries. Overall my questions were answered and collectively made a plan that fits me.

Dr Nair is wonderful as is her rehab team of occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech therapists. Sherry and Alex and Everyone is terrific. Megan Lipman was kind and directed my rehab process very professionally. Thank you all for getting me back to work and back to running. They will focus on you meeting your goals. Thank you Nathan for taking me out running and also Dr Robbins for getting me through a difficult time in my life. To have a stroke was very surprising and to feel like I had no control was very frustrating. My PT said it best when she told me I’ve been through a lot. Give myself some grace. I am hardest on myself. Thank you,Sherry
