Wellstar Kennestone Pharmacy

They never answer the phone. They are vague about when they will get medications in house. I usually never post reviews, but somehow this is the one part of the hospital system that doesn’t give you a survey. I’ve been trying to call all week (this has happened multiple weeks), and at one point they actually connected me with another customer who started asking about her meds! Another time I actually had to call the main hospital directory to try and get someone to answer the phone. Another time I got so frustrated with calling that I just went there in person to see if I could talk to them and when I got there I told them that no one was answering the phone and she laughed and said oops it’s turned off. I’m livid this place is horrible.

Even though we have to drive 45 minutes to get here, I'm thankful for these amazing people. This is literally the only pharmacy that has my son's medication. Parking stinks here, but thankful indeed!

Just the worse service ever. I have to get certain meds from here cause my regular pharmacy doesn't carry these meds. I have nothing but problems every time I deal with Kennestone's pharmacy. First they denied one medication but approved the other. Kept saying that I wasnt covered under the insurance company. I stood there looking at the girl working like, "Seriously? They approved this one so that should tell you that I do have this insurance. Let's think about this, okay?" The girl just looked at me stupidly and then walked away to speak to the pharmacist. He came over and I explained it again. He then told me that its was after hours so I'd gave to wait till tomorrow for them to find out why they're actually denying it then. I always have a wonderful experience at the Kennestone pharmacy! They go above and beyond to assist customers & get things done as soon as they can

From my experience, fast friendly and efficient. The consideration that needs to take place is the fact that this is a hospital pharmacy. They are getting hit in may different directions both internally and externally. To keep it all together amidst that is impressive.
