WellSpan Urgent Care - Greencastle

I was seen here on 3/4/26. Lance was my nurse/ radiologist. He was very nice and through. Dr. Jake was absolutely amazing! He made sure he knew my medical past before treating me, the first urgent care doctor I know to do that in a long time. He was very through as well. Thank you to them for a pleasant visit.

My daughter and I are both down with some sort of sickness. We live closer to Chambersburg but we know the care here at Greencastle is top notch. We went in today to get seen, they took us both together without issue. The front desk lady was super kind & quick. The nurse was fabulous, sweet & thoughtful. She listened to our concerns and advocated for us. She also made sure we were comfortable with the decisions we made, not wanting us to go home without what we were expecting. The doctor was phenomenal, took his time, was very paitent & made us laugh (laughter is the best medicine) - everyone was very knowledgeable & gave me the steps to take to start feeling normal again. I had a serious and potentially life-threatening experience at this urgent care. PA Katherine, Tyler, Lance, and Dr. Decort repeatedly mishandled my care, gave conflicting information, and forced me to make multiple calls and even drive to the clinic to get help. Their mismanagement put my health and safety at risk, and I felt completely unsupported. I cannot recommend this urgent care and would caution anyone who needs prompt, reliable, and safe medical care.

I’m leaving this review as both a medical provider and a concerned mother. My 13-year-old son was seen at this facility while away at summer camp, over three hours from home. He was diagnosed via X-ray with a minimally displaced fracture of the proximal shaft and metaphyseal region of his 5th proximal phalanx — a break near the base of his pinky finger, involving the joint area. Despite the clear diagnosis, the provider insisted on using only a simple finger splint, which does not immobilize the MCP joint, where the fracture is located. This was a serious concern. A standard of care for this type of fracture is an ulnar gutter splint, which stabilizes both the finger and the joint to promote proper healing and prevent long-term deformity. My initial visit went as expected, I was seen quickly and the staff was friendly and quick to answer any questions I had as thoroughly as they could, however there was no real "checkout" process they had me go through and it wasn't until a later date I gained access to my after visit summary and other general information for my visit. I had to receive a call back for a test that was run and although they did call me to inform me of these results I still had not been given any information on how to access any paperwork regarding my visit/care/diagnosis etc. I tried to contact them again a few days later as I had some questions regarding my treatment and symptoms but the person I spoke to that day was a bit dismissive and unhelpful.
