WellSpan Urgent Care - East Market Street

I've only been to this clinic once or twice in the last 15 or 20 years, but both times, I had excellent service, and was happy with the care that was provided to me. The staff is friendly, professional, and prompt. I was very fortunate to have been seen within about 20 minutes. I was in and out in 1 hour. Dr Christian Kone was also excellent. He also had an excellent bedside manner. The same goes to be said with the staff. Everything was great with my visit today.

I was seen at Wellspan Urgent Care East York) today for respiratory symptoms. The time spent in office was 90 minutes from start to finish. That is reasonable for a “ walk in” facility. The front desk staff was polite & prompt. My nurse, Lauren was very professional & kind. She explained everything, asked if I had any questions, she was caring & engaging. My physician Dr. Christian Kone additionally was professional, caring, and took his time, and clearly had looked at my chart before seeing me. I gave Urgent Care 5 stars because dealing with “ walk ins” and appointments, there is a lot in a day they need to be prepared for. They got the job done, were professional & kind, while being thorough and focused. I commend the team on a job well done. Thank you for your care! Deborah Gobel

Took my son for his sports physical. Its advertised as $40. They told me it was $40. My son was confused because the school said it was $20 but i remember from last year they upped the price and the guy confirmed yeah it went up to $40 and insurance doesnt cover it. I swiped my card, was charged $40. Now i have an outstanding balance for $39 because for whatever reason they decided I have to pay $79 this time. I contacted them, they cant tell me why im being charged extra and sent me to billing. Billing acted like it was always $79 and maybe i thought there was a special going on that wasnt. Nevermind I have previous statements and their website all saying it's $40. They apparently cant do anything except send it back over to to be reviewed by the people at urgent care who couldnt do anyth

if i could give 0 stars i absolutely would. do not come here if you are in a hurry or a time crunch. they take forever to call you back to be seen for anything (drug test for me and several others that are waiting) these people and myself among others have been waiting over an hour. on top of that, they are rude as ever. i asked what the wait time looked like when i got here (was looking for an estimated time i didnt need the exact timing) and the lady snapped at me with her attitude. avoid this place at all costs. go elsewhere if possible. i could understand if they were short staffed but there are more than enough people on both sides working so not sure what their issue is.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I went for what I thought was the flu. The Dr spent maybe 4 minutes with me, I felt like I was a complete waste of her time. I have never had such horrible care in my life. I can't believe that my insurance has to pay for such a waste of a visit. DO NOT GO HERE!
