WellSpan Imaging - Adams Health Center

Wellspan would not do my 20 week anatomy ultrasound because my care provider is a Certified Practical Midwife and not a Certified Nurse Midwife. It didn't matter that I had the appropriate paperwork or that another local imaging center has done two ultrasounds at the request of the same CPM. The computer system would not allow the lady I spoke with to book the appointment because I am not seeing an OBGYN or CNM. This is discrimination. Another local imaging center has done two ultrasounds in the past few months at the request of the same care provider. My insurance had no issues paying the bills for those two ultrasounds. This is a Wellspan policy that is not supported by PA state law or requirements from the insurance company. It is not Wellspan's business who my care provider is so long
