WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital

My visit to WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital for a CT scan was just okay. Check in was straightforward and staff were polite, though the process felt slow at times. The scan itself went smoothly, but communication was minimal. Overall, it was an average experience that met basic needs without standing out positively or negatively overall today.

I came here 2 times in the past 4 days i came in on new years with a super high heart rate 180 but dropped down between 110-130s and they were extremely nice and ran every test possible on my heart ekg and thyroid testing and stress tests before ruling out i have severe anxiety and severe panic episodes and that i constantly live in a state of fight or flight. they were very nice everyone here treated me amazing the nurse would bring me heated blankets without me having to ask just very generous staff. the doctor recommended me to a few doctors who are good in dealing with this and gave me medication that has really helped me and my heart rate calm down. i have never been to a hospital where the doctor actually listens to you and cares about your concerns instead of assuming. they were ver

Recently spent 5 days here in the CCU, and despite how scared I was, the nurses and doctors I dealt with made me feel like they were family taking care of family. Jen, Caroline, Trevor and Dr. Au all went above and beyond to care for me, and I appreciate the hell outta you guys. Thank you!

I brought my 6 month old son into the emergency room because he was throwing up and could barley breath he was so congested and this doctor in the emergency Renee sandlin came in listened to me looked at my son for 2 seconds seen he smiled at her and told me it was a virus didn’t bother to check his ears or even do a simple respiratory test or an rsv test and sent me home I took him to his doctor today and she was very upset they didn’t check him he has a very bad ear infection now and it’s so congested he can barely breath. Very negligent and neglectful which is crazy because I had my baby at this hospital in may and they were phenomenal and I had the best experience ever.

Becareful here if you can ask a ton of questions. I have been fighting a bill for years now with them , we were there 20 min got a bandaid and a tentus shot and got an over $2,000 bill !! When we went in they never said anything about a copay / deductible or what the services would cost there was absolutely no transparency the whole medical bill was a suprise, when asked for an itemize bill I was sent some strange bill definitely not itemized when I called to question the bill and ask for explanation I got 4 different answer from different people each saying the other was wrong . A recent call the lady talked over me the whole time when I spoke louder to get in a word and ask for it to be reviwed and looked into she hung up on me .
