I’ve been going here for years and ultimately ended up deciding just not to go to the doctor for over a year because it was so stressful and I have so many traumatic experiences from this facility. One of my worst experiences with them messing up putting in my nexplanon three times and one of the times they dropped it on the floor and proceeded to try to still put it in my arm. Not to mention the absolutely insane wait times and the fact that I have waited over 9 hours just to be seen only for the pcp Only to give me five minutes of telling me they just don’t have time to see me despite the fact that I made an appointment. I have also dealt with making appointments online like they suggested and getting double or even triple booked, and having them cancel constantly . They have also messed

Some of the doctors are rushed, reflecting pressure from administrators to see as many patients as possible and to not provide lengthy education and preventative care. I advocated for two years for symptoms of low iron and then heavy bleeding exacerbated the fatigue, but they did not give the referrals to infectious disease, gynecological, and functional medicine doctors that would have helped me with my problems. The doctors have been the opposite of caring and just try to check off if a women's well check is complete rather than to be caring and try to help the patient treat and manage existing symptoms. Although they have the tools and knowledge to help with the whole person and all of the body systems, they just offer anti anxiety medication and are not helping women feel well or heard

I had an appointment with Kelley Fitzgerald at the Thomas Hart Family Practice located at 1001 S. George Street, York, PA 17403 six months ago. I scheduled that appt. because I had concerns about a thyroid issue and I needed a prescription for high blood pressure meds. At that appt., I filled out all initial patient forms and Kelley Fitzgerald examined me. Upon taking my blood pressure it was indeed elevated: 160 over 90. Since I weigh only 115 pounds, that blood pressure reading was high. That appt. I asked Kelley Fitzgerald to write me a prescription for my blood pressure med and she would not. She however scheduled me for blood/lab tests which was done the next morning. Upon Kelley Fitzgerald receiving the results that confirmed a thyroid issue, via the phone, she prescribed Synthroid f

This location is ridiculous. I got into a car accident a pretty bad one to this day that shot me straight foward into homeless and body movement issues. I stopped going to my appointment because they were not accommodating and I didn't have anyone to help both there and back to the car and from the car for my appointments seeing as I was severely injured due to my accident. Moving was a big problem for me and being homeless was draining. I couldn't work fell behind financially devastating and broken....i ended up having to move back in with my mother to Florida till by body was strong enough to function even the slightest. I am sad to see all of these negative reviews. I am a new patient, just moved to PA. I am seeing Dr Malerich and chose him as my PCP even though this practice is over 45 minutes away from where I live. What does that tell you? Dr Malerich is still in residency but it doesn't matter to me because not only is he smart, thoughtful, and considerate, he really CARES about you. And as far as the staff, every time I have called with a concern or to get a question answered I have been promptly and thoughtfully taken care of. Don't know what else one could ask for...try them for yourself, just call and talk to them, if they aren't as I described then ok, hang up and move on.
