WellSpan Family and Maternity Medicine at Brossman Health Center

Dr. Fannin is a wonderful practitioner. I’ve had her as my GP since I moved to Lancaster and she’s been nothing but great. Very understanding, compassionate, and direct. I appreciate all of those qualities in a doctor. Her staff are also amazing, they are very on top of contacting me when they need to and processing paperwork. I did have one issue with paperwork and when it was brought to their attention it was dealt with quickly. 5 stars for everyone😁

Dr Ryan is absolutely the kindest and most dedicated doctor our family has ever worked with. I can't imagine going anywhere else for healthcare anymore! ETA: She’s been a wonderful doctor for our newborn(now toddler), she was a very caring lactation consultant and an incredibly patient doctor for myself! We have also seen Dr Fannin & Dr Lima in a pinch when Dr Ryan didn’t have availability and I walked out feeling heard & well taken care of for sure!

My adult daughter had a scheduled appointment with Dr. Ryan along with an appointment for her newborn son. It was unclear what the start time was however the wellspan portal for my daughter stated the appointment arrival time was 1:30 PM. We arrived at 1:20PM and were told that her son's appointment was scheduled at 1:00PM and so the appointments were canceled. No other appointments were available in the near future as Dr. Ryan is beginning her maternity leave. This was very disappointing and I think she could have at least seen one or both even if the appointment was shortened. On the other hand perhaps it is for the best.

They will gaslight you and insist they're correct about everything. Worst lactation advice I've ever gotten. We got a doc that dismissed every single strange symptom my infant has. I'm a mom of 3, very experienced breastfeeding, with an infant who struggles to latch and seems to have mouth pain. Doc has no clue what's wrong and refuses to investigate any further. A doc who has little personal experience as a mother or breastfeeder. Never again. I don't tolerate doctors who gaslight anymore. Next. Edit to update: it was Dr. Ryan who everyone touts as this "amazing doctor" we're still having issues and now baby is refusing to nurse. I am shocked to see the negative reviews on here. My family and I have had nothing but a great experience with this office. We started bringing my daughter when she was a newborn 4 years ago. She struggled as a baby and is still very shy and cautious at the doctor. Dr. Degenhard's demeanor is so calm and patient. It worked wonders for her over the years during her check ups. I personally see Dr. Fannin who I have always really enjoyed. Our infant daughter now see's Dr. Ryan who has been great as well. All doctors are always very thorough and we never feel rushed. The office staff has ALWAYS been super friendly over the years and accommodating during our visits. Even recently, our older daughter was struggling to hear her little sister cry during her check up.
