WellNow Urgent Care

I had cut my fingers on a can of corn (lid) which1finger required stitches. The doctor came in and cleaned it. That was the most painful…& when Precious (RN) came to put the stitches and she was so polite & So professional, she explained everything in detail to me and made my experience a pain-free & pleasant..Precious (RN) was absolutely amazing. I hope anyone who has a visit at Wellnow get to experience her as your RN.

I scheduled an appointment at this location three days ago, completing all required forms online so that only my copay remained upon arrival. When I arrived, several people entered before me because my appointment was after opening time. While it is possible they also had appointments, it did not appear that way. After checking in and paying my copay, I expected to be seen at or near my appointment time or a little after. I understand the facility was busy and had only one provider on staff, but every person who arrived before me was seen first. This raises the question of why appointments are offered if they do not manage the order in which patients are seen. The staff was polite, professional, and attentive to my concerns, which is the primary reason I am giving this business two stars

I brought my 90-year-old mother, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, to WellNow Urgent Care in Fayetteville, NY when she became ill with what we thought might be the flu. We were able to get an immediate appointment, which I truly appreciated. Natalie Zimmer, the nurse practitioner on duty, was terrific—warm, compassionate, and genuinely empathetic to my mom’s situation. Her bedside manner was outstanding. The receptionist, intake nurse, and X-ray technician were all equally kind and attentive. In healthcare settings, this level of care can be hit or miss, but the entire experience here was impressive. Something is clearly working very well at this WellNow location—please keep it up!

I scheduled an appointment. I walked in, checked in and was put right into a room. Gave all my info, blood pressure and temp checked. I waited about 5 mins and the NP came in. She did the nose and throat swabs. I was in and out in less than a half hour. I wasn’t rushed, everyone just did their jobs efficiently.

I showed up for my apointment yesterday at 4:30 but the wellnow sign above the foyer and the open sign above the door were both off. The lights were also dimmed. I thought they were closed and I was upset and started trying to call other well nows to make sure I could get in elsewhere. While calling I saw a car pull up and someone walk in. I then walked in myself to find that they were open. I explained the confusion with the unlit open sign to the front desk lady and she didnt say much. When I left the signs were still not on. I think they might be trying to discourage business.
