Worst cat vet experience ever. I have had several dogs treated here with excellent care- so caught off guard here.- but today my cat was not given proper treatment- kept in his cage, I picked him up covered in poop and pee, no medicine was ever administered and only one test performed (after 8hours) for a routine UTI complaint. I dropped off my kitty at 8 am- at 9:30 I received a call that no urine could be collected, then no update until 2- even though I called at noon. At 2 they had still done nothing. By 3 they had a urinalysis showing a UTI (shocker)and when I picked him up by 4 they still had not given him any meds. For comparison- we took him to the Blue pearl ER and in 1 1/2 hrs they had given him an exam, IV for fluids, gabapentin to help him relax and Zofran for nausea. And free c

Their staff was amazing when I had to put my little baby to rest last week. They were all so kind and considerate. I love their staff. They even sent me my baby's paw prints in the mail with a card.

Update: he has opened his own practice so I have followed him. I love Dr Heinz and the staff. I started coming here six months ago or so after a friend recommended them. I had a very bad experience with my prior vet and was looking for a new place. They have been great with providing care with my dog who has stage 2 renal disease. I take her once a week for her fluids and of course blood work when necessary. Dr Heinz is always friendly, sincere and helpful. The atmosphere of the staff is exceptional. They truly care about your pet. Updates: Dr Heinz has opened his own practice a little over a year ago so I followed him. Pixie is torn about it cause she likes the techs but not the fluids lol.. they handle her dramatic butt well. Thank you Wedgewood for restoring my faith in vets again… it

I was looking for a vet for my two cats after a bad experience at my previous vet. I decided to give wedgewood a try when one of my cats got sick and was unable to urinate. The entire staff treated me with such kindness and compassion. Explaining everything that was going on with my cat and what next starts I need to take and preventative steps to take to prevent this issue from happening again. I am forever grateful and my cats, Thelma and Louise, have a new vet! Thank you again

Can’t recommend this clinic enough. They really treat your pets like they are their own. We were treated so kindly, and everyone was very informative. You can tell they truly care about you and your fur babies! Thank you for all your help.
