Waynesville VA Clinic

Unlike medical offices I’ve used in the past, Waynesville’s VA outpatient clinic is friendly, hospitable, and is wonderfully supportive. The front office staff are never too busy to smile and greet patients in a warm and inviting manner. They go above and beyond the call of duty to find solutions to the most unusually issues. The medical and behavioral staff are top-class and both friendly and professional, seemingly driven to make sure every vet is happy and healthy. This is a wonderful resource for us vets!

Hit or miss, most of the time miss. If you schedule an appointment a year before then it’s ok but if you are sick or need to make an appointment, good luck. A scheduled lab appointment shouldn’t mean it’s 30 minutes later than scheduled.

Horrible. Women at the front talk to veterans in such a disrespectful way. Crazy that the other VA employees confirm it and try to get you to complain but when you do nothing happens. But as long as they stay comfy on there chairs with there yeti’s life is good. They don’t care about Veterans at all in my opinion. Doctors act like you owe them something and god forbid you actually start expressing your concerns… if you can’t get it out in a 20 minute appointment just shut up and deal with it.

What I don't understand is this Clinic only gets 3 Stars it should be 10. They are understaffed and underpaid I am sure. But they don't care they still provide a great service to all my Brothers and Sisters because they care about us. I have never had a bad experience with The Waynesville VA. They have always been there for me/us. Yes there might be a time or two something didn't go as planned but take a knee and drink water. BTW if you call and can't get through on the phone try the online Messaging it works great. God bless the whole staff and I send a BIG THANK YOU!!

H.S. Truman VA Clinic serves the greater FLW community. Good healthcare for Veterans. You don't always get the same doc as I've had 4 different PCPs in the last 5 years. Sometimes hard to contact this clinic by phone, but when you get through they're quick to take your call. Nurses call back promptly when you have questions about your care plan. In-clinic physical therapy gym, clean exam rooms, and awesome lab techs. Ample wheelchair access ability with a few you can use if necessary. VA Advocate for healthcare benefit consultation is available either iIfclinic or by phone. If you need help with your claim or have questions regarding your visit, she is an expert.
