My opinion of the VA home changes with the employees that I meet. I will say today was a nice experience especially with Leta or Neta (sorry I forgot which one) and with Ashley. My brother was a top supervisor of Texas Instruments and had impeccable clothes, manners and personality. It’s hard to see him like this so the employees who are kind to him are very special.

Wonderful facility! We have 2 family members that reside here and we Love, LOVE the staff that take care of our Veterans and spouses! These folks are dedicated and passionate about care giving! The Cooks do a fantastic job, the Nurses and Techs are amazing and the administrative staff is Super professional. I am so thankful we found this facility for our family! Thank you Watkins Logan Staff and God Bless everyone who helps care for our Veterans! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 💕💕.

Fantastic place for your loved one.... My mother is a veteran spouse. She has been to 8 different facilities and that is only because she couldn't find the right fit and it was hard for her to understand she needed to be in a nursing facility. The last place we were at she would have stayed but I needed her to be closer to my home. I could not have asked for a better place than Watkins logan. She still loves it after 3.5 years!

The place is clean, but that is not the problem. The problem is with Social workers . Today was a bad experience. The social worker had no idea how to speak with family members except screaming and yelling like a lunatic not sure how a social worker can say a patient has no dementia or Alzheimer’s when the medical records say different by the Veteran Administration medical team. She deemed him to be able to handle his business. After over five VA doctors have said different . Linda Thomas caller ID we think she never identified herself needs to lose her job. She was the most unprofessional person I have ever delt with.

My first time visiting. There are probably 10 different smaller buildings that have about 15 rooms in each building. (I didn’t do an exact count). I visited building E. The building was clean and did NOT have a bad odor. I encountered 2 employees, both were nice and friendly. The person who I visited had a clean and orderly room with a private spacious bathroom. If I had a loved one who was a veteran I would want them to be at this facility!!
