After the latest incident with this pharmacy, I will be switching my compounded prescriptions to Asheville Compounding Pharmacy, even though Hickory is much closer for me. Asheville Compounding Pharmacy says they can provide next-day service on my prescriptions, and even if I have them shipped, I think I’ll get quicker service. My doctor called my prescriptions in last Thursday morning. It is now Monday at 3 p.m. I’ve called three times, and my prescriptions are still not ready for pickup. All three times I’ve called, I’ve been told the wait time is 48-72 hours. No one seemed to care when I pointed out that Thursday morning to Monday afternoon is much longer than that! I was told this morning they’d be ready this afternoon, but they wouldn’t give me a time, even when I said I have to driv

They get a 5 star review from me. I’m not sure who let me in 10 minutes past closing time on New Year’s Eve but the fact that you were kind enough to let me in and reopen the register so I could get medication was amazing customer service. Thank you!

Good DRUGS, but here's the rub: Astoundingly bad customer service. I'd normally say "three times and you're out" but in this case, there's nowhere else for us to go; if you need a compounding pharmacy and you live in the area, this is all we have. I've had two incredibly bad in-person experiences with staff. And just now I got off the phone with someone else who nearly made me say, "Do NOT make me come over there." It's what has prompted this 1-star rating. Just horrible customer service. It's almost as if they know they're the only player in town. I'm now contemplating a trip to Morganton and that would be a good one hour out of my life. Maybe I'll get it shipped from out of state... Be respectful to customers!

I suffer various complex genetic polymorphisms which make me extremely sensitive to both foods and medications, and am currently critically ill and cachectic. Pharmacist Trey filled a compound for me which would have been perfect for almost anyone, but due to my sensitivities, was untenable for me. Despite the inconvenience it caused him, Trey reformulated by removing all possible typically used ingredients in such a way as to allow the medication to work for me. As the medication is critical in both allowing me to eat, and balancing HPA Axis dysfunction, it's truly a life saver / extender for me at this time. Years ago when my Wife and I began using this pharmacy service was good. Unfortunately that has changed. Service is slow,pricing high and I received an order I cancelled a week prior. They charged the credit card I asked them to remove from their system earlier. To be safe I cancelled my card and contested the charge. I contacted the pharmacy and they requested I mail the prescription back, which I did but got stuck paying the return charge. We cannot recommend this business anymore.
