Water's Edge Dermatology - Palm Beach Gardens

I walked in after two urgent care visits that did not give me a diagnosis for a skin issue with my finger. I was met with an amazing front desk girl who could not have been any more accommodating. She was able to get me an appointment on Monday as I walked in on Friday after all the doctors had taken their last patient. When I returned on Monday she was just as wonderful having remembered our conversation and all the information she had taken. She set me up with Belinda. Belinda and her assistant were both very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend anyone with skin concerns to visit Edgewater.

Great experience. Staff, doctors and everybody involved. Location is very good, easy to find. Big parking lot. Only good things to say Doctor Justin Platzer is very professional. Always take his time to body check, asking questions and answering your questions too. Strongly recommend their practice.

Had Mohs surgery recently with the terrific Dr. Platzer, assisted by the lovely and truly wonderful Alicia. All went well. Stitches to be removed next week. Minimum to no discomfort, both during the procedure and afterward. The morning after the procedure, Alicia called me to make sure all was well, which indeed was the case. Very glad I am in the care of Dr. Platzer and Alicia. Highly recommend this fine medical practice.

Dr. Rachelle Lacey is amazing! Every time I visit her office, her friendly demeanor immediately puts me at ease and makes me feel comfortable sharing my treatment goals without judgment. I’m truly grateful to have found a dermatologist who not only understands my skin, but also takes the time to educate me and ensure my skincare plan aligns with my individual needs. I’ve received services from her in both Boca and Palm Beach Gardens, and I would happily travel anywhere in the metropolitan area—wherever she has availability—to continue my care with her.

I checked in early at 9:35 for my 9:45 appointment, so I didn’t expect to be seen early—the office was slammed. I wasn’t taken to the exam room until 10:00. I undressed and waited on the table for 30 minutes before the doctor arrived. The doctor performed a thorough exam, which I appreciated. I’d have given Waters Edge five stars, but a 45-minute wait feels excessive. Otherwise, they did a great job.
