My husband just had his inguinal hernia surgery done by Dr. Coykendall 3 weeks ago. We took time and researched to find the best doctor. We not only found the best doctor, we found a Dr. who really cares about his clients. We have been continually amazed at the personal touch. I can’t say enough good things about Seaside Hernia and Dr. Coykendall. I lived with an inguinal hernia for over 20 years and avoided surgery because it rarely bothered me. That changed this October, when it started causing real discomfort. Like most people, I went down the rabbit hole of watching surgery and recovery videos and fully expected a long, painful recovery. Dr. Coykendall told me I’d be able to return to normal activities after three weeks—and he was absolutely right. I went skiing in Maine exactly three weeks after surgery. I had almost no pain after the first few days, never took any pain medication, took my kids to school the very next day, and was back to daily life immediately. I even played in a pool tournament the day after surgery (probably not my smartest move), but
