Waterbury Center For Nursing & Rehabilitation

My brother Steven spent 3 months at this rehab. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Mindy in the rehabilitation department was so excellent and helpful. She was very kind and compassionate with my brother. She worked with him several times a week. He improved greatly during his stay. The place was so clean. He shared a bathroom with 2 other roommates and it was always very clean. His room always immaculate. Shout out to the housekeeping staff in 2 East. The nurse and the CNA’s very kind and compassionate. They were very patient with my brother. My family and I truly appreciate.

The social worker was extremely kind and genuinely concerned about my brother. Since I moved to the West Coast, I was especially worried about him. She was calm, reassuring and very supportive, and even gave me her personal phone number so I could stay in touch anytime I’m unable to reach him. The nurses also do their best to keep me informed, which I really appreciate.

It was my first time ever at this facility and I was thoroughly impressed with Marlene, the Director of Nursing, She was just so patient and kind listening and getting immediate answers to the questions and needs of my friend. In addition, this morning I called the facility to follow up on additional needs. I spoke with Donna, the Supervising nurse on duty. She too, was just awesome!! These 2 Nurses never made me feel like I was wasting their time. THANK YOU BOTH, FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!

My son Scott was here for 14 mths and the level of caring by the staff was so kind considering their work load. Rehab is great and Mindy the DOR always got the best out of Scott.

Terrible place no one does anything there. My mom only got worse. She'd complain for weeks her pain was getting worse and they didnt do anything. They figured all she wanted was pain medication. Weeks went by and they didnt even schedule her appointments that she needed. They're part of the reason she can't walk anymore. Don't send your love ones here. P.S Physical therapy probably came down once while she was there. Just as awful as the rest of them. Although either way it didn't matter as my moms health worsen not like she could do it anyways if they even cared to drop by
