Washington Avenue Pediatrics

I had a very positive experience for 3 years up until a few months ago ago. I took all three of my children to this practice regularly and made sure to follow up with all their well visits and was extremely on-top of my children’s physical wellbeing. I had disagreement with one of the doctors not long ago, I did not consent to some medical treatment I deemed unnecessary at this point and I was then asked to leave the practice. Additionally, at the time of my last visit the doctor herself was extremely alarming . She was not kind or caring at all she only cared to push her agenda and forced me to give my infant a very high dose of Tylenol on the spot which I did not think was the right does and I challenged her and she got all flustered and even meaner and said she was right-after the fact

We love it here and we love Dr. Elkins! He is kind, knowledgeable and makes my son and myself feel at ease. He shows genuine concern for his patients and he’s always available to speak with if you have any concerns day or night. I highly recommend him for your child’s pediatrician!

Dr. Elkins is a great pediatrician and shows genuine care and time to his patients! Would recommend this place to all parents looking for a pediatrician

Amazing practice! Love all the doctors. Highly impressed with the office staff as well. So accommodating and patient. When you open the door they are friendly to you and smile.It really makes a big difference! Also I want to make mention of the new doc, Doctor Elkins. He’s so nice and I can tell how much he cares about his patients. He phoned me a few times, explained test results and made sure to follow up when necessary. Hes very calm, reassuring, and extremely gentle with children. I’m so happy he joined Washington Ave Pediatrics!!!!

Dr. Weiss is an incredible doctor and all around human being. My son gets so excited when he gets to see him. He is thorough, caring and patient. I don't know what my family would do if he wasn't our pediatrician. I wish we could all see him.
