Wapelhorst Aquatic Facility

I have been going to this park since moving here from KCMO in 2010. I live right across the street and my boyfriend of 10 yrs passed a year ago and the blue slide was our favorite and is a daily reminder of the love we shared.

This facility is very popular. For admission, St. Charles residents can use a Parks Passport Card and St. Peters can use a Resident Privilege Card. See the website for Schedule and details including pricing for non-residents. Sometimes advance tickets or reservations are required due to the popularity! The features were recently updated; very enjoyable.

Nice community pool , lifeguards seem to keep up with the chaos . But I do have a few complaints . This place is for family fun , women should not be allowed exposed themselves the way they do here. Also families hogging all the chairs for their 20 kids that don’t even use the chairs is just unfair to any adults with or without children that would like to tan and enjoy the sun . But you can’t ever find a place to sit due to the chaos . Some of the female lifeguards wearing their bathing suits bottoms up their cracks isn’t very appropriate. Other than those complaints this is a safe fun place to go enjoy the sun .

Just spent the last several days with grandkids at wapelhorst! They had a ball and I even went on the boomerang twice with my grandson even though I’m about 75 years old! All lifeguards were definitely doing their jobs and checking went smoothly! Took girls to tiny tots and they wanted to go to the whole pool area! Next time 😉
