Dr. Mateo is incredibly friendly and makes dental visits a comfortable experience. Her extensive knowledge and clear explanations make her easy to understand. She takes the time to listen to your concerns. The office and exam rooms are spotless and well-organized. The front desk staff is polite and welcoming. Mariel, a fabulous dental hygienist, employs a gentle yet effective technique. She’s incredibly friendly and easy to converse with. I highly recommend Waltham Family Dental.

The hygienist and the front desk were exceptional. Super kind and welcoming. That said, I was told I needed a root canal and was strongly encouraged to book a $1,200 procedure without a thorough explanation of alternatives. I had no pain and normal testing, but conservative options were not discussed. I sought a second opinion elsewhere and the tooth was successfully treated with a simple filling. I wish I had been given all options upfront so I could make an informed decision.

Everyone at Waltham Family Dental has been super nice and professional. Dr. Ana Mateo is a fantastic dentist and I'm happy with all of the work she has done for me. Their technology and equipment is MUCH more up to date than my previous dentist so I'm happy I found them. I don't plan on looking for another dentist anytime soon. You won't regret coming here!

I can’t say enough good things about this dental office. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly patient. I came in with a lot of anxiety and pain, and they took the time to explain everything clearly, made sure I was comfortable, and treated me with so much kindness. My dentist was gentle, detail-oriented, and genuinely cared about my well-being—not just during the visit but afterwards, too. The procedure was smooth, I felt safe the entire time, and they even followed up to make sure I was healing well. The office is clean, modern, and runs on time, which I really appreciate. All the staff are very professional and polite. They take their time to do a thorough cleaning. Explain everything and dont judge you like other offices I have been to in town. I also did not feel like they were trying to scam me, and have work done that was not needed. Their treatment plan was appropriate.
