Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Pediatric Department

Second time my appointment was scheduled Wrong!! I scanned my card and sat down Been waiting for over an hour They said I was scheduled for an allergy shot I said no, I’m not here for an allergy shot, neither my Dupixant shot. I give myself the shots and I had surgery from an ENT since my last appointment I’m here for Dupixant and post ENT surgery Same thing happened last appointment Dr made an accommodation for me last time they screwed up Again!!! Don’t think he is this time. You would think they see I’m still on the schedule and not checked off. I arrived 15 early as well I’m still sitting and not told what to do? I’ve been here 1.5 hours now. No clue. My round trip drive is 2 hours through Hell. I was scheduled for a shot again!! My Dr and I are not doing Allergy Shots!!!

Love bringing my kids here. I come here too but to Internal medicine. Everything is conveniently located within two buildings. Appointments are fairly easy to get, and emergencies can be taken care of within a couple hours. Granted if it’s the weekend it can take a couple hours! They have enough staff that meets the demand of the military families so far as I have experienced. I will keep coming and would recommend if you have Tricare.

Unbelievably hard to schedule an appointment or get a hold of anyone over the phone. I have been calling the clinic all day, only to be hung up on, then wait forever just to be transferred multiple times, and then have the staff not know what I'm talking about when I said I wanted to set my newborn's first appointment like my doctor told me to do after I delivered. Come on, why is it so hard that instead of recovering at home I will have to go in person to figure this all out and make an appointment? Honestly disappointment.

BEWARE! They will call CPS on your family! If you child has any marks on them which are unexplained be ready for you life to be flipped upside down until you can prove you family’s innocence! The is is a training hospital which residents can screw up with no repercussions.

Wow! Incrediably educated savy people there. From the physician to the respiratory teacher and pharmacy. What a great experience overall. These people know kids. Wait time was short!! Great Job!
