Walgreens

Today, I mistakenly sent a prescription here and was reminded why I only use Walmart now. Because the pharmacy is closed from 6:45-7:15 for "lunch." I love for employees to get lunch breaks. Lunch is approximately 10:30-2 pm, you know, when at least 51% of the working age population is at work, i.e. not trying to pickup their prescriptions. Since everyone can see the Google analytics, anyone can also see that the least busy time for the store is during normal lunch hours. 🤷‍♀️

Meds are never ready when they say they are. I get the your order is ready text and then I get there and its not ready. And the level of incompetence when it comes to explaining why their system is garbage is deplorable. Just do better, I dont know how Walgreens as outlasted CVS with worse customer service and higher prices.....

Shoutout to the young girl, Mira. Saturday the drive-thru was actually moving at lightning speed thought maybe a miracle happened, but nope, it was just her working the window 🤣🤣. I’m pretty sure she’s the same one who doesn’t make you wait three hours for a prescription. She’ll ask for a minute and run to the back and then somehow reappears two minutes later with the prescription in hand. I'm telling you if it was anyone else they'd make you wait hours. She mentioned she’s headed to pharmacy school, so maybe the future of pharmacy actually has hope. Minus two stars for the rest of the staff though back to the usual slow-mo lazy energy when she’s not there. Kinda a bummer she isn’t around more often.

Both the employee that assisted me with picking up my prescriptions and the pharmacist were very helpful and patient. When a problem with one of the prices was discovered, he chased down the reason and fixed the price of the script to reflect my insurance as quickly as possible. There are times when it takes awhile to get your scripts because of the long drive up line, but I would happily wait if the delay is because they are being so helpful with their customers.
