Walgreens Pharmacy

Two of my children got sick and needed antibiotics. Our appointment ended at 3:30 called this pharmacy when they will be done preping the medicine, they said 2 hours. And I called a hour and thirty minutes later they said one more hour, knowing damn well they will be closed, so I had to transfer to another one which got it ready in 45 minutes! WHAT IN THE WORLD. This has happened 3 times this year. Never again

Called the Pharmacy multiple time, sat on hold for over 30min, only to be hung up on (this happened more than once) when it was supposedly my turn in the queue. Was trying to get a specific medication filled, and every time we called in there was a different story as to why they couldn't fill it, only to find out in the end it's because they didn't have it and there are supply chain issues. I would have appreciated just an honest answer from the start. Walgreens in Porters Neck was super helpful and I was able to get answers in minutes...

I have had my medicine filled at this location over 15 years. I was told it could be picked up on Friday. On Friday I was told Saturday. On Saturday I called just before 6 to let them know I was pulling in. I forgot they close at 6 on Saturday. I was at the window at 6:00 on the dot, and the blind was down and they would not respond to the bell. Very rude and disrespectful having just spoken to the pharmacist. Not to mention given incorrect dates my medication would be available.

Sat on hold for 35 minutes, wish I could say this doesn't happen much but it happens A LOT. I've also had a pharmacist tell me they were "working" on my prescription and it would be done in "30 minutes" just to show up an hour later and have to wait for 30 more minutes because it wasn't even started. I live 30 minutes away so I can't just show up. I understand being busy but hanging up on people that are waiting and flat out lying is ridiculous.

Impossible to reach someone by phone, both for me and my doctor's office. couldn't find a prescription my doctor sent twice. I don't blame the store; they must be understaffed and overworked. Walgreens needs to look at this.
