Walgreens Pharmacy

I love Walgreens. They have their own discounts on prescriptions. As an RN I m amazed at the competence of every pharmacist and, technicians. Once in a while I've had to wait while they help an elderly patient; which I love. They all get another tech.to help. The longest I've waited is 20 minutes. They also offer drive up instore shopping while you wait. They call over intercom when your script is ready.

My husband and I switched to Walgreens pharmacy thinking it would be a better experience BOY was I wrong. The people who work in the pharmacy are so unbelievably rude and unhelpful. Hands down the WORST pharmacy I have ever dealt with.

I rarely leave reviews, but I've been thinking about this experience for a few weeks now and this seems to be the best way to express my gratitude. My dad was prescribed an insulin pen and the script was sent to Walmart. After about a week of it being out of stock and not getting anywhere when asking about when it'd be available, I sent the script to Walgreens. The pharmacist (I think his name is Albert, I'm not sure, I wish I had asked) was an absolute blessing. Unfortunately Walgreens also didn't have the medication in stock. In addition, because the insurance covered it at Walmart, it wouldn't also cover it at Walgreens, so it would be over $600. My dad was almost out of insulin, so I asked about what other options I had. The pharmacist went on his computer, then told me that the name

Awesome experience at Walgreens pharmacy in Tiverton. Staff went above and beyond to fill a very difficult to find in stock medication for me. They even double checked to see if they had enough to fill as a 90 day supply so I wouldn’t have to hunt for it for the next 3 months and had it filled in less than 15 minutes. They’re always super helpful whenever I call.

Excellent place to go, The pharmacy is right on top of things. If you have any questions they answer them best of their knowledge. Monique Is an incredible incredible Pharmacy tech..
