Walgreens Pharmacy

Absolutely horrible. First they tell me my medication is not covered by insurance. I confirm with my insurance that it is in fact covered. I then go back to the Walgreens pharmacy and they tell me that it is approved and will be ready in a few hours. I go back the next day to check on the status of the prescription and they tell me they don’t have any records of my prescription. When I tell them the name of the medication they say that they do not carry the dose I was prescribed. Never use this pharmacy. I am switching to CVS

Edited on 3/20: I put in a request for my meds to be refilled as I had 1 refill on the bottle. After a couple of days I saw that it was declined, and they claim they couldn’t refill it although it had 1 refill. I ended up abruptly stopping a medication I’ve been taking for at least 8 years. 3/20: I went in today to pick up a different medication, and while I was there I tried to explain the situation and asked why it would have been declined. She states that they cannot decline refills, but when I asked why they wouldn't fill my original medication with 1 refill, she went on to blame my Doctor, although she has been consistent with my refills and we haven't had such issues here in the last 5 years coming. My Dr. and I had a phone call about this last week and she is equally as frustrated

Edit (4 years later): This place is still terrible for filling prescriptions. Get here at 8am when they open, and feel free to wait for your prescription "sometime after 2pm". I wonder why they always take 4 hours to fill anything. Oh it's because I should never come here. This pharmacy is very understaffed. Expect to be on hold for over 15 minutes if you call here. Filling your medication will usually take several hours. The people who work here are nice and it's not their fault, which makes it that much more frustrating. One time I called here 1 minute after they opened and was on hold for about 16 minutes. Calling during the day is 15-25 minutes holding. My doctor sends prescriptions electronically usually before they open, and they typically fill it in the afternoon, like 2-3pm. W

I had a great experience at Walgreens. The store was clean and well-organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I found everything I needed quickly, and the checkout process was fast and efficient. I'll definitely be returning for my future shopping needs.

The Walgreens staff work hard to get your RX to you. They are always very nice and friendly to our family. I have gotten my vaccinations there and think they are great!
