Walgreens Pharmacy

For a few months I haven’t had too many issues since having to use this pharmacy until recently. I had a prescription to be filled today..I called four times yesterday to make sure it was in stock before having my dr send a script to them today..NO ONE answered and I kept telling the ppl who first answered that when they transfer me no one is picking up.. eventually the pharmacy closed. So my doctor sent my script there today. They made me wait HOURS for an update .. my prescription said “in process” I called three times to ask when it would be ready as it said it would be ready hours ago. No one answered so eventually I drove there to pick my meds up only to be told THEN .. that it’s backordered and at that point my dr office had been closed as well as other pharmacies. This pharmacy has become absolutely useless. Prescriptions take forever to fill and frequently sit at “insurance issue - no action needed” - but the pharmacy never bothers to call you and just cancels your order after a while. I’ve had to have my doctor’s office call numerous times to push things through. Anything that requires a prior authorization they’re hopeless but won’t give you any info and just keep you waiting. I’ve waited for 3 days for a prescription only for the doctor’s office to finally call me that they noticed my prescription had not been filled yet and that they tried to walk Walgreens through the process, to no avail. Save yourself the headache and find a new pharmacy. The wait is long and they take forever to fill your prescriptions. Most times they don't even have it. To make matters worse, they either have you on hold forever or don't answer the phone.

Hands down the most unorganized, slowest pharmacy in all of new jersey. I didn't think it was possible, but I spent over sixty minutes in line.

This is hands down the worse pharmacy I've ever dealt with. They don't care about their customers. Last week I ordered a blood glucose monitor. They said they had to call my doctor for the prescription. They called a doctor I never heard of, and I found that out 2 days later when I called to check on it. I then got the Doctor to send the prescription the next day. They didn't bother ordering it until the following Monday. I'm top of that there were several times that they ordered me the wrong insulin, and they have procrastinated on orders I don't know how many times. I have used Mom and Pop pharmacies that were able to get meds within a day, that includes the meter. Here I am 9 days later and I still don't have it, and they don't care.
