Walgreens Pharmacy

I needed something filled by tonight and hadn't received a text yet. Since they closed in an hour, i called and after being on hold for 10 minutes, i decided to just drive there and check in person. (I've been in hold for an hour with them before and didn't want to chance it) I stayed on the phone and was still on hold when i pulled up. I looked and nobody was on the phone, i saw a pharmacist on the computer, and i saw the phone sitting in it's case. I didn't tell them I tried calling. But they were really nice and quickly filled my prescription on the spot. Other than being on hold too long, they are always really nice when i have come for anything.

Kept me on hold yesterday for an hour and 15 minutes. I finally had to give up. I was on hold today for 20 minutes. At that point the hold music turned off and the phone just started ringing. Of course, no one answered it then, either. I finally gave up, which is what they hope people like me will eventually do. This is not the first time this has happened, just the most of my time they have wasted. I can't drive because of the medical condition I need to get prescriptions for, so it costs me money each time I have to take Lyfts there to ask them to fill a prescription. Then I either get to wait around doing nothing while they fill it or waste more money coming back to get it later. (No, I do not know anyone with a car who can help me; life as a Disabled person tends to be hard like that

I’ve been filling prescriptions here for a couple years now and it started out fine, never ran into problems until the last year or so. My prescriptions are constantly delayed, no matter what they are, and this pharmacy is very difficult to reach over the phone. It constantly says “3 callers ahead of you” and even after 20 minutes, it keeps repeating the same thing. It’s frustrating always seeing “delayed” with no reason why. it would be nice if someone could reach out and notify why something was delayed so there’s at least some level of communication. It’s been frustrating and I’m going to switch to a different pharmacy because I just don’t have time to deal with this every time I need a refill

Walgreens is the kind of pharmacy that feels like it was designed by someone who has never met a human being but once read about customer service in a medieval manuscript. If my insurance didn’t drag me here like a hostage, I’d sooner fill prescriptions at a lemonade stand run by unsupervised toddlers. The hold times are so long I’ve begun to question my own mortality, the in-store waits rival major theme parks (minus the joy), and the pharmacy staff acts like customers are some kind of rare and unwelcome migratory species. Honestly, the only reason this place stays open is because insurance companies force us into this bizarre, joyless pharmacy Hunger Games. Who would choose this voluntarily? Even my prescriptions feel embarrassed to be filled here.

It took days to refill a simple prescription. I'm only going here because my insurance no longer covers CVS, which I miss desperately. Much better service there.
